Head 'em Up, Move 'em Out

We're finally on our way. Had problems with the bedroom slide-out room: it wouldn't retract. After calling Winnebago, an RV dealer, and a mobile RV repair tech, Jim disconnected the slide motors, pushed the slide-out room in, and blocked it there with some 2x4 lumber. Thank goodness we had the tools on board (including battery-powered circular saw), and some lumber still in the garage left for the new house owner.

When we got to the Compass RV park in St. Augustine, Jim pushed out the slide-out, reconnected the motors, and everything worked. Hopefully the synchronization reset will continue to work. The interconnect between the bed tilt and room slide seems a bit picky. Hope we get this issue ironed out for good soon.
