Chicago Sites

We meet Kevin and Megan for brunch. Kevin had schooled us on the trains, so we had that adventure. In the afternoon, we did the architectural boat tour on the Chicago River. As the docent put it, after the big fire that wiped out most of downtown, the architects and builders had a fresh canvas to remake the city.

The Chicago Marathon had been on Sunday, so we saw many runners, evident by their teeshirts or the medal around their necks, during our touring on Monday.
