Cave Springs Yacht Club

We got our inflatable kayak this morning. We bought a Sea Eagle SE370 from Amazon. It had been delivered yesterday, but the office people didn’t know it was there. We unboxed it, got the valves installed, and inflated the boat at our coach to make sure we knew how it all worked, then deflated it and headed out to get life jackets. We ended up a Cabela’s just as they were changing the sign to Bass Pro Shop! Then on to Beaver Lake. We got to the lake, had some lunch, then inflated the boat and as we were getting ready to cruise, realized that the thunderstorms were kicking up quite a few whitecaps and the sky looked very black. We retreated to Cave Springs where we decided to actually find the Cave Springs. We did, and the springs flow into a quite nice pond. We inflated again and paddled around. A splash from the bank turned out to be a beaver!
