Branson Belle Anniversary

For our anniversary celebration, we had dinner and the show on the Showboat Branson Belle. This 278 foot paddle-wheel boat was built at the lake and launched using bananas as lubricant. Dinner was pretty decent. Allison’s vegan choice had only green beans and potatoes, but she got chocolate cake because it’s our anniversary.

Between dinner and the show, there was time to go outside and see the sights. The boat went past the Table Rock Dam and around a few of the inlets. It was slow and so smooth that if you were inside and not looking out, you couldn't tell we were moving. The boat docked about 20 minutes before the show ended and I don't think very many people noticed unless they looked out the windows.

The Master of Ceremonies is a very accomplished magician. The show was about an hour of music and dancing and was very well done.
